No doubt that the Summer Shakespeare Festival is the oldest and biggest open air festival that presents William Shakespeare heritage to european audience. The festival is always held from the beginning of July to the beginning of August on romantic, historical stage in Bratislava Castle and it brings around 30 brilliant Shakespeares plays to the live summer stages. The festival itself is very attractive, not just to the locals, but it attracts audience from the broader region.
